Influenza A Outbreak at Rainycrest Declared Over

Riverside Health Care, in conjunction with the Northwestern Public Health Unit, has declared an end to the Influenza A outbreak at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home affecting the East and West Wing.

All resident and visitor restrictions have been lifted, and normal visitation has resumed.

While the outbreak has concluded, Riverside Health Care continues to operate under enhanced masking requirements across all Riverside facilities.

At Rainycrest Long Term Care Home, masking remains required for all visitors, care partners, staff, and volunteers when in resident care areas and common areas.

Riverside continues to follow comprehensive infection prevention and control practices designed to protect our residents, staff, and the broader community.
