Adult Day Program

Riverside's Adult Day Program offers multiple services for individuals with Alzheimer Disease, progressive cognitive disorders, dementia, or others who may be frail and 65 years or older. This supervised individualized programming in a group setting helps adults achieve and maintain their maximum level of functional health to prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization. It also provides respite and support caregivers. Our aim is to encourage community members with limitations to maintain the greatest degree of independence.

Components of the Adult Day Program services include:

  • Social engagement
  • Recreational & physical activities
  • Home cooked meal
  • Light personal support & minor health care services (eg. medication monitoring)
  • Relief for care giving families

NOTE: Eligibility must be assessed by Home and Community Care Support Services Northwest. There is a $15 fee per session once approved.
