The Emergency Department at the Rainy River Health Centre is potentially set to be temporarily closed

From: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 12:00pm

Until: Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 8:00pm

Riverside Health Care continues to explore all possible options to provide safe access to care. Every effort will continue to be made to restore services as quickly as possible, and we are committed to keeping the community informed regarding this situation.

Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1. Ambulances would be re-routed to La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.

The closest Emergency Departments to the Rainy River Health Centre are:

· Lake of the Woods District Hospital
