Riverside Updates Enhanced Masking Measures

Riverside Updates Enhanced Masking Measures
Effective immediately, Riverside Health Care
is lifting its enhanced masking protocols across its facilities.
While these enhanced measures are ending,
respiratory illnesses, including influenza and other seasonal viruses, continue
to circulate within our communities. Riverside will continue to closely monitor
local infectious illness activity and will adjust measures as needed to help
protect those we serve and our staff.
Riverside has always remained a mask-friendly
organization. Masks continue to be available at the entrances to our
facilities, and individuals who choose to wear a mask are encouraged and
supported in doing so based on their personal comfort level, health
considerations, or individual circumstances.
Masks and other personal protective equipment
(PPE) continue to be used by our staff in many point-of-care interactions and
clinical situations. At times, and as per organizational policies and care
protocols, patients, residents, and visitors may also still be asked or
required to wear a mask based on the care environment and clinical
circumstances.
Riverside Health Care appreciates the
continued support and cooperation of those we serve, our staff, and the community as we work together to maintain safe care environments across the
district.
