Casual Seasonal Maintenance Worker (Student)

Salary Scale:

$16.13 / hour, as per CUPE pay schedule

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY:

  • Must have lawn tractor experience;
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Priority setting skills;
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skill with the ability to function effectively, independently, within a team, with frontline personnel and management;
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment with excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload;
  • Dependable with a verifiable acceptable attendance record;
  • Proven ability to perform the essential duties of the position on a regular basis.
  • Must have Grade 10 education

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The basic responsibility of the Seasonal Worker is to provide seasonal assistance to the maintenance department.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:

  • This position may be required to work: days, evenings, and weekends
  • Current assignment is 8-hour shifts, days, evenings, weekends possible
  • This position will commence ASAP and can terminate with two-weeks written notice from the employer
