REPORTS TO (TITLE):

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  •   Minimum of 3 year Accounting or Finance Diploma/Degree from a recognized       College/University. Four year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
  •   Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Financial Management.
  •   Business Intelligence Analyst is required to:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform financial and statistical analysis and be capable of generating conclusions and proposed suggested courses of action based on the data
  • Develop, maintain and prepare automated reports as assigned
  • participate in a team oriented and integrated environment
  • Ensure timelines are adhered to

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Report financial and statistical information annually, quarterly, monthly and as required by applicable legislation, regulation and as directed by senior management.
  • Complete and submit Financial & Statistical Long Term Care, hospital, community and regional reports annually, quarterly, monthly and as required.
  • Complete Benchmark reporting
  • Statistical Reporting training and education for Managers, staff, regional partners and Board
  • Work closely with partners and other Regional health agencies to collect, compile and report Regional information
  • Management, Corporate, Regional reporting dashboards; long term care, hospital, community.
  • Collect and report market and census activity for Rainy River District.
  • Digital and virtual implementation, planning and support
  • Work in conjunction with Health Records, Nursing, Finance, Community Services, Long Term Care, Mental Health & Addictions to meet statistical reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Must have expertise using Word Processing, spreadsheet, database, reporting and accounting software.
  • Familiar and comfortable working with reporting tools such as 3M, CIHI, UKG Payroll & Scheduling, Virtuo Financial System, WTIS, Meditech, Point Click Care and other healthcare reporting systems (corporate, Regional, Ministry, Federal)
  • Provide support and guidance to Finance, Health Records, Human Resources, IST, Community Partners, Managers, Senior Managers and Board.
  • Statistical Analysis, reporting in compliance with OHRS, Long Term Care reporting requirements, WTIS, community and regional
  • Manage and lead trend reporting, work flow studies, market analysis
  • Develop policies and procedures for the collection, analysis and retention of data
  • Monitor analytics and metrics results, implement new data analysis methodologies, review data to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
  • Design and develop enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions
  • Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

GENERAL:

  • Carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures. (ie: Occupational Health and Safety Act.)
  • Participate in the Department's Quality Management Program
  • Assist Education, Human Resources, Payroll and IST departments as required.
  • Perform other duties not specifically mentioned in the policies, procedures or job descriptions or that may, from time to time, be assigned

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:

  • This position will be required to work days
  • This Full Time position will commence: As soon as possible
