Food Services

Riverside Health Care food services staff members are making a difference in the lives of our patients, colleagues and community members with their important work across the district. No one is left hungry, as this team provides thousands of healthy meal and snack options on a weekly basis, including menu planning for special diets such as renal, cardiac and diabetic. From our cooks to our dietary aids, Riverside takes pride in improving health through nutrition.  

La Verendrye General Hospital

Located on the ground floor, across from the river-side entrance elevators, the Riverfront Café is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Emo Health Centre

The Emo Health Centre cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Staffed by a group of wonderful volunteers, lunch is only available to visitors between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Rainy River Health Centre

Food services at the Rainy River Health Centre are limited to patients only, with no public service available. 

Rainycrest Long-Term Care Home

While our cafeteria is not available to visitors directly, you can purchase tickets to enjoy a meal with your family member in-residence through reception desk, or at the nursing station outside of the normal working hours.
