Clinical Nutrition/Dietician

At Riverside Health Care, we are committed to providing optimal nutrition while caring for our patients, their families and our community members.This can occur in a number of ways across the Rainy River District, at all our facilities. Our Registered Dietitian provides a number of services in this capacity, leading the management of medical nutritional therapy to ensure that short and long-term patients, residents and their families are given optimal and appropriate nutrition care and education.

In and Out-Patient Counselling

If you've been diagnosed with diabetes, you can be referred to our Registered Dietitian for a nutritional assessment of your eating and lifestyle habits and a care plan that is developed based on your individual nutritional needs.

Nutrition Workshops and Community Presentations

A variety of workshops are offered to promote healthy eating and increase nutrition awareness to members of the community.

Our diabetes care is located at the Community Health Services building, 206 Victoria Ave. in Fort Frances.  
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
