Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign Raises $12,992
December 01, 2025
Riverside Health Care is pleased to
announce the results of this year’s Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign,
which generated an impressive $12,992 in total local sales. Half of all
proceeds, $6,496, will directly support Riverside’s Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS!
campaign, helping bring advanced diagnostic imaging services to the Rainy River
District. The remaining $6,496 will support Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
From November 17 to 23, Tim Hortons
guests in Fort Frances rallied behind the campaign, exceeding last year’s local
cookie sales. Smiles were shared throughout the district as numerous
businesses, schools, community groups, and residents placed large orders for
pickup and delivery.
A special highlight of the week
included members of Riverside’s frontline staff and management team joining Tim
Hortons employees in-store to help decorate cookies. Staff also assisted with
deliveries across Fort Frances and west to Rainy River (with many stops in
between), bringing festive cheer and freshly decorated treats to workplaces,
partners, and supporters.
“We are incredibly grateful for the
overwhelming support shown during this year’s campaign,” said Holly Kaemingh,
Riverside’s Director of Fundraising. “Every Smile Cookie purchased helps bring
essential diagnostic tools, like our district’s first MRI, one step closer to
home. We extend our sincere thanks to the Tim Hortons Organization, our local
restaurant owners, their dedicated team members, our staff who volunteered
their time, and everyone who placed orders, making this past week such a
tremendous success. This truly reflects the spirit of our community.”
During an official cheque
presentation, team members from the Fort Frances Tim Hortons location joined
Riverside Health Care staff to celebrate the campaign’s success. The group
gathered, all smiles, to recognize the meaningful impact this year’s Holiday
Smile Cookie campaign will have, not only in supporting Tim Hortons Foundation
Camps, but also in advancing diagnostic imaging services for patients across
the district. Together, we are building Tomorrow’s Riverside, Today.
