All patients receiving services at La Verendrye Hospital must be registered.
If you are attending the hospital for any one of the following services you must be registered at the Information/Registration Desk located at the Main Entrance.
- Inpatient Services
- Day Surgery Services
- Rehabilitation Services (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy)
- Chiropody
- Clinical Nutrition
- Scheduled Outpatient Services (Fracture Clinic, General Surgery Clinic, etc.)
- Diagnostic Services (Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Ultrasound, Mammography)
- Specialist Clinics
- Breast Education
This registration area is open Monday-Friday (with the exception of statutory holidays) from 6:45am – 5:00pm. The hours of this desk maybe extended to accommodate Specialist Clinics.
If you are attending LaVerendrye hospital for Non-Scheduled Emergency Services you are to register at the Emergency Entrance which is located on the first floor of the facility just as you enter through the Emergency Entrances. If you attend this desk for services other than Non-Scheduled Emergency visits you will be requested to proceed to the Registration Desk on the ground floor to register. The reason for this is to give priority to Emergency Patients to ensure there is little to no delay in processing the patient.
The Emergency Registration Desk is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
